Feelin' Groovy
Great for students aged 4-7 with no or some music experience. Feelin' Groovy: Music for Littles is a class designed for students to learn music fundamentals through a variety of ways including; world drumming (in an auditory, high energy, drumming circle style), basic keyboard, reading primary notes and values, singing, group composition and music appreciation.

In this class students will . . .
- Learn rhythms and songs from all around the world
- Gain musical fundamentals in a fun and engaging way
- Focus on dynamics, tempo, call and response, 4/4 time, 6/8 time and improvisation
- experience music through a facilitated drumming circle style
- learn basic notes and note values (eighth, quarter, half, whole)
- learn to play up to 5 notes on the keyboard in treble clef
- compose a group song
- explore various styles of music with a focus on the grooves of the 70s (the theme for the 2025/26 season)
