Fun Drum

Great for ages 4-9, Fun Drum is a class designed for students wanting to experience music and drumming in an auditory, high energy, drumming circle style. This class incorporates world percussion such as djembes and auxiliary percussion to teach rhythms and songs. 

In this class students will:

• Learn rhythms and songs from all around the world
• Gain musical fundamentals in a fun and engaging way
• Focus on dynamics, tempo, call and response, 4/4 time, 6/8 time and improvisation
• experience music through a facilitated drumming circle style
• learn to play 2 tones on the djembe and additional hand held percussion instruments such as the guiro, bells, shakers, boom whackers, clave, sticks and more!
